Welcome to the We Draw Near Blog! I’m so glad you’ve shown an interest in drawing near to God! It’s the best thing you could chose to do! There’s a promise in the bible “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you” James 4 v 8. And God always keeps His promises.
Are you interested in drawing near to God in creative ways? That’s what We draw near is all about.
Words such as Redemption, Forgiveness, Holyness are rich and powerful, but what do they look like? How do you personally relate to them? I, Lea Helygain am not a wordy person, I think in pictures. Therefore I have picked up a pencil and started drawing what these deep concepts mean. Taking the time to draw, created space for me personally to open my heart and be embraced by Jesus. I hope they will do the same for you. These unseen biblical truths has became my emotional reality. Having a drawing to rest my eyes on and touch, nurtured a deeper understanding of who Jesus is and His closeness to me. I hope you join me on this journey of getting to know our amazing God through beautiful drawings.
